Technique
- Set the handles at about waist height and face away from the anchor.
- Hold the handles, lean forward and brace the abs so the body forms a straight line from the knees or toes to the head.
- Lower your body forward by extending the arms overhead.
- Stop before the lower back sags.
- Pull the handles back by drawing the elbows down and toward your body.
Cues
- Keep a slightly rounded, tucked pelvis.
- Move slowly; the straps make it harder than a wheel.
- Stand more upright, with the straps closer to vertical, to make it easier.
Common mistakes
- Letting the hips sag.
- Going farther than you can pull back.
- Using the arms to yank the body back.
