Technique
- Get into a reverse plank with the hips high and the body in a straight line.
- Brace the abs and squeeze the glutes.
- Lift one straight leg off the floor as high as you can without the hips dropping.
- Lower it and repeat with the other leg.
Cues
- Keep the hips level and high.
- Point the toes and keep the lifting knee straight.
- Move slowly and under control.
Common mistakes
- Letting the hips sag as the leg lifts.
- Twisting the pelvis.
- Lifting the leg using momentum.
