Technique
- Stand tall on one leg with the other foot raised slightly.
- Step back into a reverse lunge and lower the back knee.
- Push through the front foot to rise and, in one motion, drive the back knee up toward the chest.
- Lower the foot straight back into the next lunge; finish the set, then switch legs.
Cues
- Balance on the standing leg for a moment at the top.
- Stay tall.
Common mistakes
- Leaning forward while driving the knee.
- Rushing past the balance point.
