Technique
- Secure a barbell in a landmine post and stand holding the end of the bar with both hands at chest level.
- Take a staggered stance with a slight forward lean and braced abs.
- Press the bar out and up until the arms are straight.
- Return the bar to the chest under control.
Cues
- Push through the front foot to transfer force.
- Keep the hands stacked behind the bar sleeve.
Common mistakes
- Leaning too far back and turning it into a shoulder press.
- Allowing the bar to pull the shoulders forward at the bottom.
- Using a loaded end that is too heavy to control.
