Technique
- Wedge the end of a barbell into a landmine post or corner and load the other end.
- Kneel on the knee on the same side as the pressing arm, the other foot flat in front, and hold the bar end at the shoulder.
- Press the bar up and forward along its arc until the arm is almost straight.
- Lower slowly to the shoulder.
Cues
- Squeeze the glute of the kneeling leg to stay tall.
- Let the shoulder blade move forward at the top.
Common mistakes
- Leaning back or twisting to finish the rep.
- Letting the ribs flare.
- Pushing the bar straight up instead of along its arc.
