Technique
- Stand over two kettlebells, hinge at the hips and grab both handles.
- Hike them back between the legs, then drive the hips forward to bring the bells up into the rack at the shoulders.
- Let the bells rest on the outside of the forearms, wrists straight and elbows tucked.
- Brace and press both bells overhead until the arms are locked out.
- Lower to the rack, then let the bells drop back between the legs to start the next rep.
Cues
- Guide the bells close to the body so they do not crash onto the forearms.
- Squeeze the glutes and abs during the press so the lower back does not arch.
Common mistakes
- Curling the bells up with the arms instead of using the hips.
- Leaning back hard to finish the press.
- Rounding the back when the bells drop between the legs.
