Technique
- Stand about an arm's length from a wall and place your hands on it at shoulder height, a little wider than your shoulders.
- Lean in with your body straight and heels lifted slightly if needed.
- Bend your elbows and bring your chest toward the wall.
- Push back until your arms are straight.
Cues
- Step further from the wall to make it harder.
- Keep your body in one straight line.
Common mistakes
- Bending at the hips instead of moving the whole body.
- Standing so close that the elbows barely bend.
