Technique
- Lie on your back with your arms out to the sides and a stability ball squeezed between your lower legs or knees, legs raised.
- Keep your shoulders pressed into the floor.
- Slowly rotate your legs and the ball to one side, stopping just above the floor.
- Use your obliques to bring them back through center and to the other side.
Cues
- Keep the shoulders flat and the ball under control.
- Make a smaller range if the shoulders lift.
Common mistakes
- Letting the shoulders lift off the floor.
- Dropping the ball quickly.
- Rotating so far that the lower back is strained.
