Technique
- Stand with feet about hip-width apart and turn the toes slightly outward.
- Rise onto the balls of the feet as high as possible.
- Pause, then lower slowly until the heels are near the floor.
Cues
- Keep the knees pointing the same way as the toes.
- Push through the big toe.
Common mistakes
- Turning the feet out so far that the arches collapse.
- Bouncing at the bottom.
