Technique
- Clip a single handle to the bottom pulley and turn your back to the stack.
- Take the handle in one hand and step forward until the arm is pulled slightly behind the body.
- Stagger your stance and keep the elbow pointing down and a little back.
- Curl the handle toward the shoulder without moving the upper arm forward.
- Lower slowly to a full stretch, finish the set and switch arms.
Cues
- Feel the stretch in the biceps at the bottom.
- Keep the chest up and the shoulder down.
Common mistakes
- Letting the elbow swing forward during the curl.
- Rotating the torso to lift the weight.
