Technique
- Stand on a band with feet hip-width apart and hold the ends with an overhand grip, palms facing down.
- Keep the elbows at your sides and wrists straight.
- Curl the hands up toward your shoulders without letting the wrists bend back.
- Lower slowly until the arms are straight.
Cues
- Keep the knuckles aligned with the forearms.
- Use lighter resistance than for a regular curl.
Common mistakes
- Letting the wrists collapse backward.
- Swinging the torso.
- Using a band so strong that the elbows move forward.
