Technique
- Stand tall with a dumbbell in each hand, arms hanging and palms facing forward.
- Curl one dumbbell up to the shoulder while the other arm stays straight.
- Lower it under control, then curl the other arm.
- Keep alternating until both arms have done all their reps.
Cues
- Keep the elbows close to your sides.
- Fully lower one arm before the other starts.
Common mistakes
- Swinging the torso to lift the weight.
- Rushing the switch so both arms move at once.
