Technique
- Lie on your back, curl your head and shoulders up and draw both knees toward your chest.
- Extend one leg out at a diagonal while the other knee stays bent and hands hold the shin of the bent leg.
- Switch legs in a smooth rhythm, bringing the extended knee in as the other goes out.
- Keep the upper body lifted throughout the set.
Cues
- Keep the lower back on the mat.
- Extend the leg only as low as you can control.
Common mistakes
- Letting the lower back arch.
- Dropping the chest.
- Rocking the pelvis.
