Technique
- Set the suspension trainer handles at about mid-chest height and hold them with palms facing each other.
- Lean back with arms straight and walk your feet forward until the body is angled and the straps are taut.
- Pull your chest toward your hands, squeezing the shoulder blades.
- Lower under control to full arm extension.
Cues
- Keep a straight line from head to heels.
- Elbows go back, not out.
- Walk your feet closer to the anchor to make it harder, farther away to make it easier.
Common mistakes
- Sagging at the hips.
- Shrugging the shoulders.
- Doing half reps.
- Letting the straps drift apart.
