## Technique

1. Attach a weight with a belt, then grab the neutral (parallel) handles of a pull-up station.
2. Hang with straight arms and shoulders pulled down.
3. Pull your chest toward the handles, driving the elbows down.
4. Lower slowly to full extension.

### Cues

- Build up the load gradually.
- Elbows to the ribs.

### Common mistakes

- Letting the weight swing.
- Stopping at less than full arm extension.
- Adding load too fast.
