## Technique

1. Loop two strong towels over a pull-up bar about shoulder width apart and grip both ends of one towel in each hand.
2. Hang with straight arms and shoulders pulled down.
3. Pull your chest up toward the towels, keeping the elbows close.
4. Lower slowly to a full hang.

### Cues

- Squeeze the towels tight.
- Use thick, strong towels.
- Pull the elbows down.

### Common mistakes

- Using worn towels, or holding only one end so the towel can slide off the bar.
- Letting the grip loosen.
- Swinging the legs.
