# Standing Cable Rotation

## Equipment

- Cable Station

## Technique

1. Set a handle at chest height and stand side-on to the cable station.
2. Grip the handle with both hands and straighten the arms in front of the chest.
3. Rotate the torso away from the machine, pulling the handle across the body.
4. Return slowly to the start; finish the set and switch sides.

### Cues

- Keep the arms long and let the trunk do the turning.
- Let the foot nearer the stack pivot slightly if your hips need to follow.

### Common mistakes

- Bending the elbows and turning it into a row.
- Snapping back toward the stack under load.
- Using so much weight that the lower back twists.
