# Stability Ball Lower Body Rotation

## Technique

1. Lie on your back with your arms out to the sides and a stability ball squeezed between your lower legs or knees, legs raised.
2. Keep your shoulders pressed into the floor.
3. Slowly rotate your legs and the ball to one side, stopping just above the floor.
4. Use your obliques to bring them back through center and to the other side.

### Cues

- Keep the shoulders flat and the ball under control.
- Make a smaller range if the shoulders lift.

### Common mistakes

- Letting the shoulders lift off the floor.
- Dropping the ball quickly.
- Rotating so far that the lower back is strained.
