# Plank to Push-Up

## Technique

1. Start in a forearm plank with the elbows under the shoulders.
2. Place one hand flat where the elbow was and press up, then the other hand, to reach a high plank.
3. Lower one forearm and then the other back to the forearm plank.
4. Change the leading arm every few reps.

### Cues

- Keep the hips as still as possible while the arms move.
- Set your feet wider if the hips rock too much.
- Move at a controlled tempo.

### Common mistakes

- Swaying the hips side to side.
- Always leading with the same arm.
- Letting the hips drop as you step down.
