## Technique

1. Stand facing a wall or a partner with the ball held at chest height.
2. Take a small step back with one foot and brace the abs.
3. Push the ball forward hard, extending your arms and stepping into the throw.
4. Catch the ball on the rebound, absorbing it into your chest, and repeat.

### Cues

- Throw as fast as you can with a crisp finish.
- Push through the legs and let the power travel into the arms.
- Use a ball you can throw quickly.

### Common mistakes

- Throwing with only the arms.
- Arching the back as you throw.
- Using a ball that is too heavy to throw fast.
