# Incline Push-Up

## Equipment

- Flat Bench or Plyo Box or Step Platform

## Technique

1. Rest your palms on a sturdy bench or box, a little wider than shoulder width.
2. Step your feet back so heels, hips and head line up.
3. Lower your chest to the edge, elbows at about 45 degrees.
4. Push back up until your arms are straight.

### Cues

- The higher the surface, the easier the push-up.
- Keep your glutes and abs tight.

### Common mistakes

- Letting the hips sag or stick up.
- Using a surface that can slide.
