## Technique

1. Start in a push-up position, then walk the feet in and lift the hips high so your body forms an inverted V.
2. Bend the elbows and sweep your chest down and forward, close to the floor between your hands.
3. Keep moving forward and straighten the arms, letting the hips drop and the chest lift up and open.
4. Push the hips back up to the inverted V to return to the start.

### Cues

- Make it one smooth, continuous wave.
- Keep the hands planted and the elbows close to the ribs on the way down.
- Move only as far into the back bend as is comfortable for your lower back.

### Common mistakes

- Dropping the hips first and dragging the chest along the floor.
- Locking the elbows hard and dumping weight into the lower back at the top.
- Rushing the reps and losing control of the arc.
