## Technique

1. Attach handles or a bar to a low pulley and stand with the balls of your feet on a plate or block.
2. Hold the handles at your sides with straight arms and stand tall.
3. Lower your heels for a full stretch.
4. Rise onto your toes as high as you can, pause, and lower slowly.

### Cues

- Keep the legs straight with soft knees.
- Stay close to the pulley so the cable pulls straight down.
- Move slowly through the whole range.

### Common mistakes

- Leaning back against the cable.
- Bouncing out of the bottom.
- Shrugging the shoulders to help.
